Position Description
As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities in the small and medium business market and introduce new products and services to our existing clients for up-sell and cross-sell opportunities. You will meet with decision-makers to analyze the client’s requirements by performing a technology assessment of their existing network infrastructure and support system. Additionally, you will identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions to increase business efficiencies and productivity while reducing costs to monitor, manage, secure and improve the network systems of our prospective clients. The sales process will be based on value as you use consultative, customer-focused sales approach that is unique to our industry and sets us apart from our competitors. You will be expected to meet or exceed the projected dollar volumes in terms of revenues and profitability, as well as meeting the sales activity requirements.
The ideal candidate possesses the following skills and experience:
- 2 to 3 years prior experience selling services including prospecting for new business through cold calling and direct meetings
- Proven success consistently achieving and/or exceeding monthly sales revenues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Strong telephone and face-to-face presentation skills; ability to listen well and to create sales opportunities
- College degree desired, preferably in Sales/Marketing or Business Administration
- Self-starter with a solid work ethic and the ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Strong working knowledge of the sales process and a heavy emphasis on client satisfaction (candidates who are responsive and empathetic to client needs)
- Commitment to achieve vendor-specific sales certifications with our key business partners
- Ability to travel locally

Position Description
Although a large percentage of work is done in house, ideal candidate will need to travel to client sites (within Metro Richmond area) on occasion.
This is NOT a traditional help desk/customer support center environment with multi-level support. Support Engineers work in a team environment, provide support across all levels, and are responsible for assigned accounts.
Required:
- Desire to be more than just a break/fix person
- Commitment to Customer Service with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional demeanor with the proven ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Willingness and ability to follow company procedures and best practices
- Sense of ownership and accountability for your work
- Experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues and providing general support to multiple clients (help desk and/or field support)
- At least 3-5 years experience supporting Windows XP Pro, Outlook (XP, 2003, 2007), and Microsoft Small Business Server
- Interest in professional development and obtaining technical certifications
Desired:
- Experience documenting work (use of a ticketing system ideal)
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience troubleshooting network issues
- Experience supporting any of the following technologies: Microsoft Windows Vista, Exchange Server, Windows Server, Symantec Backup Exec, Symantec Anti-Virus, Trend Micro Client Server Security, SonicWall, Cisco
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
- At least one technical certification (MCP, MCSE, etc.) and preferably a college degree
