I have been performing Business Technology Risk Assessments for area organizations and just completed a Risk Assessment for a 15-person company here in town. The owner was shocked with the results; I uncovered three business problems!
1. Company data could not be recovered
2. His staff was losing productivity
3. Wages were being wasted
Like most business owners, this gentleman was not a computer expert. He trusted an employee and an outside company to protect this part of his business. I am sure they were doing their best. However, that still left the business exposed – not only to financial waste, but also to potentially business-ending risk.
This situation is not okay with me. We believe every organization is entitled to secure, reliable computers that enable their staff to accomplish more, not less. If you know someone who is tired of the status quo, I would love the opportunity to speak with them.
